Furious demo over Palestinian HQ
The Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat is asking for international help in overturning Israel's occupation of Orient House. The building is the unofficial Palestinian headquarters in Jerusalem. The American State Department has already criticised Israel for the take-over, describing it as an escalation. Israel says the occupation is designed to show Yasser Arafat that he cannot achieve his aims through violence. Several Palestinian officials, including Palestinian legislator, Hanan Ashrawi, have marched towards the building. They were prevented from entering. The BBC's Paul Wood reports.
