Tomorrow the winner of television's 'Big Brother' 2 is announced. One of the four remaining contestants will leave it with seventy thousand pounds after sixty four days under relentless scrutiny by television cameras.

The programme's format, where contestants are voted out of the house by the public, has sustained the viewers' interest for two series in Britain and versions have been screened in the United States and Europe.

But now the so-called reality gameshow is venturing into South Africa, where the ultimate winner will take home one million rand - nearly ninety thousand pounds.

Diversity

The producers say they don't want it to turn into a social experiment, but show how people from diverse backgrounds get on.
