Fire causes major damage
Fire crews were attacked in Derry at the weekend
A dance club was damaged in the blaze
A building in Talbot Street in Belfast has been extensively damaged in a fire.

The blaze at the building, which houses the nightclub Space and offices, started before 2400 BST on Wednesday.

Divisional Fire Officer Nobby Clarke said it quickly spread throughout the structure.

"It was a fairly substantial fire when fire crews arrived," he said.

"They seemed to be containing it in the area where it started."

Talbot Street is located beside St Anne's Cathedral, the city's main Church of Ireland church.
