Two killed at Algerian tourist complex

Algerian media reports say that two people have been killed in a restaurant at a tourist complex at Tipaza, about 70 kilometres west of Algiers.

The reports say suspected Islamic militants entered the complex in the early hours of Wednesday morning and shot one person dead; the other was wounded and died on the way to hospital.

Correspondents say it was the first attack against a tourist centre in the region, where more than 60 people are reported to have been killed in the last four months.
