Pregnant woman attacked
Pennan Place, Knightswood, Glasgow
Both cars stopped in Pennan Place
Police in Glasgow are hunting a middle aged man after a pregnant woman was punched and grabbed by the throat in a road rage incident.

The man, who was driving a silver Mercedes, attacked the woman in Pennan Place, in the Knightswood area of the city.

The 31-year-old woman was examined by a doctor and found to be distressed by the attack, but uninjured.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident at about 0940 BST on Tuesday to come forward.

Verbal abuse

The woman was driving her blue Vauxhall Cavalier along Danes Drive when she had what police describe as "an altercation" with a man driving a silver Mercedes.

When she parked her vehicle in Pennan Place, the man verbally abused her and assaulted her before driving off.

The man responsible is described as aged in his forties, 5ft 9ins, of stocky build, with dark hair.

He was also wearing glasses and had a Glasgow accent.
