Beckham letters case adjourned
Posh and Becks
The couple's post was allegedly taken
A woman accused of stealing letters belonging to David and Victoria Beckham has had her case adjourned.

Chinyela Obue, 37, had been due to appear before Macclesfield Magistrates charged with burglary.

She is alleged to have taken a taxi from Edinburgh to a flat in Alderly edge in Cheshire, in the early hours of 1 July.

The taxi allegedly dropped her off at the gates to a mansion which contains the Beckhams' flat.

Miss Obue also faces a charge of obtaining services by deception relating to the cab fare.

Detained in hospital

Cheshire Police confirmed they arrested a woman alleged to have entered the hallway of a flat.

She was later stopped by police officers in Wilmslow two miles away.

Lawyer Michael Mackie filed a letter asking for an adjournment.

Miss Obue is now expected to re-appear in court in two weeks.

The Beckhams were not at the flat at the time.
