Fresh floods in Orissa

Fresh floods are being reported from northern parts of the Indian state of Orissa after heavy rainfall in the area, even as flood waters receded in other parts of the state. There are reports that a further three hundred villages have been affected. Rivers in the area are flowing at dangerously high levels. 80 deaths in different parts of Orissa have been confirmed so far; the figure is expected to rise as information emerges from more remote areas.
