Bangladeshi journalist found dead
Police in Bangladesh say they have found the mutilated body of a journalist who went missing on Friday.

They said the reporter, Ahsan Ali, was found floating in a canal - and that he had been blinded and disfigured with acid before being stabbed.

The Jugantar newspaper in Dhaka where Mr Ali worked said he had recently linked a local political leader with highway robbers who had been targeting the area.

Earlier this month, another reporter who linked the Awami League party of the former prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, to the highway robberies was attacked and beaten.
