On a day of high drama in Indonesia parliament sacked President Abdurrahman Wahid and swore in Vice-President Megawati Sukarnoputri to replace him.
 Mr Wahid resisted efforts to remove him from office
 Parliament voted for Megawati Sukarnoputri unanimously
 The impeachment process was televised live
 Mr Wahid remained in his palace, refusing to step down
 Supporters of Mr Wahid rallied outside the palace in Jakarta
 The armed forces ignored Mr Wahid's state of emergency declaration
 Security was stepped up for the parliament session
