Ugandan bomb suspects on parade

Security officials in Uganda have paraded 28 people whom they say have been involved in a series of bomb attacks over the past four years.

More than 40 bomb attacks, which the government blames on a rebel group, Allied Democratic Forces, have killed more than 60 people since 1997.

The Ugandan head of military intelligence, Colonel Nobel Mayombo, told journalists that the rebel group had changed its tactics from rural to urban warfare.

He said the rebels had also carried out armed robberies, drug trafficking and counterfeiting.
