| Downing Street has hinted that parliamentary rules could be changed in the wake of Lord Archer's jail sentence.
It has suggested that peers convicted of criminal offences could be stripped of their title. An Old Bailey jury convicted the best-selling novelist of two counts of perjury and two counts of perverting the course of justice on Thursday. The BBC's Elaine Parke reports:
