Deaths from ecstasy in Britain are at a record high and new research suggests that people who regularly take the drug could seriously damage their long-term mental health. The research into the effects of ecstasy is due to be published later this summer. Some experts claim that the death rate is masking the threat posed by the drug to a far larger number of people.
