Police investigate intimidation report

The Royal Ulster Constabulary has said it is investigating reports of alleged intimidation against a family in the Old Warren area of Lisburn in County Antrim.

An elderly disabled woman died several hours after moving from her home along with her disabled brother and two sons.

The parish priest in Lisburn, Father Sean Rogan, said the family had been dealt a cruel blow.

"There was a double agony for that family," he said.

"First of all they were intimidated out of their home and they had to leave their home.

"Now there is a further distress at the death of a loved one.

"I think the good people of Lisburn and the north here will be horrified, and all right thinking people would be appalled at such barbarity and cruelty."
