Jail for sex attacks on child
A paedophile has been jailed for three years at Cardiff Crown Court for a series of sex attacks on a schoolgirl carried out for more than six months.

Stephen Hone, 38, Abertillery,south Wales, was convicted of five charges of indecent assault on the girl over six months.


She was young, a very innocent child and you abused her for your own sexual satisfaction

Prosecuting, David Webster said that Hone took part in "gross sexual misconduct" against the child, then aged 11.

He was ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

Judge Michael Burr told him: "She was young, a very innocent child and you abused her for your own sexual satisfaction for something in excess of six months.

"This was a disgraceful episode in your history. Who knows what damage this has done to the child?"

The defendent told the jury the allegations were entirely untrue and the girl was telling lies.
