Life for Hindu priest killer

A jury in the English city of Nottingham has found a drug addict guilty of murdering one of the country's most prominent Hindu priests.

Dean Riddell was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The jury heard that the priest, Harish Purohit, had offered Riddell money to have sex with him, but that Riddell had pulled out a knife and stabbed him repeatedly.

Riddell had admitted the killing, but said he'd stabbed Mr Purohit in self defence.
