Bosnian-Serb officials deny mass grave

Bosnian Serb police have reportedly disputed the discovery of at least 250 bodies in a mass grave near the north-eastern town of Zvornik.

According to the Bosnian Serb news agency, SRNA, security officials said that bones and clothing had been found, but no complete skeletons.

Forensic experts have said the grave, which was discovered last Friday, contained documents and personal belongings indicating that the bodies were from the nearby town of Srebrenica, where more than 5,000 Muslim men were massacred by Serb forces in 1995.

The experts said they were probably refugees who'd managed to escape from the town, but were later captured and killed by the Serbs.
