Women and the net
![]() British women are staying online for longer than men for the first time. Will women soon overtake men as the main net users? Who is the new woman online?
Research by NOP, also suggested that women's leading internet interests are personal communication, holidays and education. Is that true of you? If you are a woman and use online sites, what do you like about them? Do you go online for hard facts like cheap flights or personal finances or do you browse for news stories and spend time clicking between interesting items? What attracts you to these stories? BBC News Online would like to hear from its female users about what they like or dislike about the site and how they use the net. Your comments will be treated confidentially and will be used for research not publication. Use the postform below to tell us what you think. This research survey has now closed |
