Three killed by Nepal rebels
The authorities in Nepal say Maoist rebels have killed three policemen in an attack on a police station in the western district of Kailali. Police say a number of rebels were also killed. The rebels started their insurgency five years ago in an attempt to replace the constitutional monarchy in Nepal with a communist republic. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
