Powell makes Aids pledge |
| US Secretary of State, Colin Powell is in Uganda where he is meeting President Yoweri Museveni, for talks on the conflicts in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mr. Powell says Washington will send emergency food supplies to Sudan to help avert a famine. Earlier, Mr Powell visited an Aids support organisation in Kenya. He said Washington would do what it could to help Aids victims. The BBC's Andrew Harding reports.
