Lithuania's quandary
Nato's Parliamentary Assembly meeting in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, marks the first time the assembly has met on the territory of a former Soviet state. But Russia still opposes the membership of former Soviet satellites -- warning that any move eastward by Nato would be countered by military redeployments of its own. As the BBC's Jacky Rowland reports from Lithuania, since independence the Baltic country has tried to balance relations with Russia with improved ties with the West.
