Another Zimbabwe minister killed in crash

A senior member of the government in Zimbabwe - the Defence Minister, Moven Mahachi - has been killed in a car crash.

State television said he died in a head-on collision.

He is the second minister to die in a road accident in Zimbabwe in less than a month, after Youth and Employment Minister Border Gezi was killed late in April.

Mr Mahachi, who was 52, had been a member of the government since independence in 1980 and had held a number of posts.
