Powell presses Kenya on reforms
The US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, urges the Kenyan government to make more efforts to reform the economy and stamp out corruption. He was speaking after a meeting in Nairobi with President Daniel Arap Moi. At a news conference afterwards, President Moi appeared to sidestep a question about whether or not he would stand down next year, saying it was up to the Kenyan people to decide their country's destiny. The BBC's Ade Akintowa reports.
