Independent Financial Advisors

Some financial advisors will help you find the best current account. They usually do this by looking at your finances as a whole.

A financial advisor who sells certain types of investments must be registered with the The Financial Services Authority or FSA - an independent body which regulates the industry.

COMPLAINING ABOUT BANKS

The Banks abide by a voluntary code called the Banking Code which is drawn up by an industry body called the British Bankers Association. The BBA publishes several factsheets for consumers.
