Vietamese economic delegation in Singapore
A high-ranking delegation from Vietnam is in Singapore to study the republic's economic strategies, particularly foreign investment. The delegation is headed by Nguyen Mai, a senior economic adviser to the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Phan Van Khai. The Singapore International Foundation, which is hosting the mission, said the Vietnamese were especailly interested in the importance of multi-national companies in the flow of foreign investment in Singapore, and their impact on social and cultural life there.
