Readers' views: Hear'Say
Pop band Hear'Say
Hear'Say: Is the CD great pop or just pap?
If you love pure pop, then this is probably an album you will want to buy, says EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy.

But what did you think? Here are some of your comments.

So they're manufactured, so what. This album is easy listening, even cheesy at times but I love it. The only problem I have with it is that the second half of the album (as with most others) just isn't as good as the first half.
Matt, England

Better than most manufactured bands but i will give them a year at the most.
Dokes, Eire

Hear'Say are great and deserve everything they get - I'm a huge fan

Laura, England
Why can't people just leave them alone - they went through hell to get where they are and all people can do is moan about it. You would be lying if you said you wouldn't jump at the chance to do what they have done if it was offered to you.

Their music may not be the most inspired but so what? It is nice to listen to - no hidden message that you are supposed to find or ego trip like most of the others out there at the moment. If you don't like them, ignore them, if you do, continue to listen. Each to their own.
T. Oad, U.K.

This is one of the worst albums of all time. The British music industry should be ashamed of what it is becoming! They can't sing and the media attention they are getting is really fake! Do not buy this!
Bob Mayers, UK

Hear'say epitomise the hopes and dreams of thousands of young children. Their album will no doubt sell the expected 600,000 because the market it is targated at want to believe that it could happen to them and are more willing to buy into the hype.

The band are good performers, with strong vocal ability and as long as they maintain an exciting public image, they will be a success. However, if the past has taught us anything, the music industry is fickle and tastes change. To maintain their success, the band must adapt and grow to changing demands.

How well they embrace the future may determine their success in the long run.
Jemima, UK

Not bad at all. In fact, pretty good given the haste in which it was produced.
Gary, UK
