German flights hit by Lufthansa strike
Flights out of Germany have been badly disrupted in a strike by Lufthansa pilots. An airline spokesman said all routes and all airports had been affected, but operations would return to normal during the day. The pilots are striking for a salary increase of at least thirty percent, and profit-sharing. They described today's stoppage, of two-and-a-half hours, as a warning.
