Shooting outside Russian Duma

In Moscow, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car parked opposite the Russian parliament, the Duma, killing one man and wounding another.

Both men were sitting in a Mercedes limosine belonging to a Moscow businesswoman Lyudmilla Kasyavskaya, director of the commercial firm Microtech, which was parked in front of the Moskva Hotel, near Red Square.

Police said the dead man was from Dagestan, and the survivor is in hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police said the motive for the shooting remained unclear.
