| In a speech to his constituency party's annual general meeting, veteran Yorkshire MP John Townend claimed Enoch Powell was right to warn about Britain being undermined by immigration. Mr Hague said Mr Townend's remarks were totally unacceptable and could not be tolerated. The BBC's Philippa Thomas reports. |
