The new BMW adds to the family's car collection

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham is reported to have received a £56,000 Mother's Day gift from her two-year-old son Brooklyn.

With a little help from his footballer father David Beckham, the two-year-old splashed out on a customised BMW 4X4 complete with three televisions.

Victoria 26, was led on to the driveway of the family's Cheshire penthouse on Sunday, where the jeep style car was waiting, according to reports in the Sun newspaper.

The England football squad captain, now in Albania for Wednesday's international match, is said to have paid £36,000 for his wife's new car and added £20,000 of extras.

The accessories are said to have included a DVD player, satellite navigation system and personalised number plate Y1 DVB.

Wood fittings were replaced with steel to make the car even more unique.

A friend of the Beckhams told the newspaper that Victoria had only been expecting a pair of earrings.

Brooklyn has a £48,000 toy Ferrari of his own to play with until he is old enough to drive his Daddy's motors.

The Beckhams' car collection includes a Ferrari Maranello, a silver blue Aston Martin, a Porshe 911 Carrera, a Range Rover and a Mercedes CLK convertible with the private plate T77 DVB.
