| It is one year since Vladimir Putin took over the Russian Presidency, a year energetically spent travelling abroad, fighting the war in Chechnya, and even taking questions on the Internet. So far most Russians still seem to approve of their new leader, welcoming the tough image he has created, and his less conciliatory tone in relations with the United States. Our Moscow Correspondent Rob Parsons assesses Mr Putin's first year in power.
