Gusinsky out on bail
A court in Spain has freed the Russian media tycoon, Vladimir Gusinsky, on bail. It ordered him to report to the police daily while his possible extradition to Russia is considered. He was arrested in Spain on an international warrant last December, after the Russian authorities accused him of fraud. Mr Gusinsky says the charges are politically motivated because of his criticism of the government in Moscow. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
