Distant dream

The ethnic Shan people have been fighting for independence from Burma for 40 long years .. without success. Now, they're under heavy pressure from the Burmese military. The Shan say they have decided to abandon their involvement in the opium trade, and are seeking international support for their struggle. The BBC's Jonathan Head has been allowed rare access to the Shan State Army's headquarters, inside Burma.
