Trains collide in Algeria

Two trains have collided in western Algeria, killing at least six people and injuring about sixty.

A government official said a passenger train had collided with a goods train near Mohammadia, south of the city of Oran more than four hundred kilometres from Algiers.

The passenger train was travelling from Algiers, and the goods train from an industrial zone near Oran.

There were no other details
