A bus carrying passengers returning from the Roman Catholic shrine at Fatima in Portugal, has crashed, killing at least ten people.

Up to twenty people were also injured when the bus swerved off a wet road and plunged into a ravine, near Santa Comba Dao, a rural town about 200 kilometres 120 miles north of the capital, Lisbon.
