Portillo pledges tax match
	Speaking at the Conservative spring conference in Harrogate, Mr Portillo promised to maintain any Labour cuts on top of £8bn savings already promised by the Tories. But he said that any tax cuts announced by Mr Brown on Wednesday would not compensate for the so-called stealth taxes introduced by Labour since 1997. The BBC's Gutu Harri reports.
