With the Academy Awards almost upon us, one of the last major pre-Oscar award ceremonies is taking place in Los Angeles on Sunday 11 March. The Screen Actors Guild Awards are one of the industry's most prized events, and respected as the awards from those in the know - the actors themselves. And they are one of the last major signposts to possible winners on Oscar night. Award-winning event producer Jeff Margolis has directed several Oscar ceremonies and has been in charge of the SAG Awards for three years. He knows everything there is to know about organising the biggest movie events of the year, from keeping the stars in their seats to making sure the right cards are in the winners' envelopes. Jeff answered your questions on Thursday 8 March at 1830 GMT in a live Forum.
(The transcript will be published at a later date.) |
