UN mission to save Afghan statues
Taliban troops have reportedly begun the demolition of two ancient rock-hewn statues of Buddha - the largest of their kind in the world as the UN's culture agency sends an envoy to dissuade the ruling Islamic militia, which plans to destroy every statue in Afghanistan. The BBC's Suzannah Price reports.
