Germany to extradite American fugitive
An American financier, accused of embezzling two hundred million dollars, is being extradited from Germany today Friday to face trial in the United States. The financier, Martin Frankel, is accused of masterminding America's biggest insurance fraud. He was arrested in Hamburg in 1999. A BBC correspondent in Germany says Mr Frankel is being extradited under the tightest security, with the authorities not even revealing his final destination in the United States.
