Zimbabwe migrants die in Botswana accident

Fourteen Zimbabweans are reported to have been killed in a road accident as they were being repatriated from Botswana.

A Zimbabwe police spokesman said the dead were among a group of fifty illegal immigrants being taken home by the Botswana police.

He said they had gone to Botswana to try to escape the economic crisis in Zimbabwe, where unemployment is estimated to be close to sixty per cent.
