India-Pakistani peace call

Military veterans from India and Pakistan have urged their governments to have an early dialogue at the highest level to resolve all outstanding issues, including Kashmir.

The call came at the end of a weeklong tour of Pakistan by a delegation of retired Indian military officers, organised by the India Pakistan Soldiers Initiative for Peace.

During the visit, the Indian delegation met a number of Pakistani diplomats and politicians, including Pakistan's military ruler, General Pervaiz Musharraf.
