David Finn was stabbed in Belfast McDonalds restaurant
A man and his nephew have appeared in court charged in connection with the murder of a man in a Belfast fast food restaurant.

David Finn, 32, from Forthriver Parade in the Glencairn area of Belfast was stabbed in the crowded McDonald's branch on the corner of Donegall Place and Castle Junction on Friday 23 February.

He was taken to hospital with a single knife wound, but died a short time later.

Anthony Hagans, 38, from Ross Street in Belfast was charged with murdering Mr Finn.

The court was told that when charged he replied "No."

His 20-year-old nephew Kevin Hagans from Falls Court in Belfast was charged with causing an affray at the restaurant.

When charged he replied "No."

Anthony Hagans was remanded in custody.

Kevin Hagans was released on bail. He was ordered by the magistrate to stay away from Belfast city centre.
