South African hijack

Reports from South Africa say a gunman is holding nine people hostage aboard a light aircraft near the capital, Pretoria.

The incident is taking place at Wonderboom airport which has been sealed off.

Police say the gunman has requested fuel for the aircraft.

Hostage negotiators are on their way to the airport.

Those on board the aircraft are said to be civilians but there are no details of where they're from.
