Trial to rule on Bosnian Croats
Dario Kordic became vice-president of the self-declared Croat state within Bosnia-Hercegovia and joined the highest circle of the Bosnian Croat military leadership after the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna proclaimed its existence in 1991. Mr Cerkez was a high ranking official in the Croatian defence council. The two men stand accused of trying to ethnically cleanse central Bosnia of most of its Muslim population during the most vicious phase of the Bosnian war. The BBC's Emma Simpson reports.
