Seven killed by avalanche in Tajikistan
The authorities in Tajikistan say seven people have been killed by an avalanche in the north of the country. The seven men were buried under snowdrifts while travelling on a road linking the capital, Dushanbe, with neighbouring Uzbekistan. The road is closed to traffic in winter.
