Dangerous celebrations in Panamá
The government of Panamá has asked revellers to be careful after eight people died on the first two days of carnival. Most were killed in road accidents, the military police said, as people in rural areas tend to drive from village to village as part of the carnival celebrations. There are still two days of festivities left. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
