Marchers demand Taiwan N-plant vote
Around ten thousand people have taken part in a demonstration in the Taiwanese capital, Taipei, against the building of a nuclear power station on the island. The march was organised by a coalition of anti-nuclear groups, who are angry that the government said it would scrap the station, then changed its mind in the face of bitter opposition. The demonstrators were calling for a referendum to decide whether the nuclear plant, which is one third built, should be completed. The BBC's Damian Grammaticas is in the region.
