Airport criticised over Taiwan crash |

| An investigation into the aircrash at Taiwan's Chiang Kai-shek airport which killed 83 people last October has found that international standards were not fully met. Investigators said that airport officials did not properly mark a closed runway that the Singapore Airlines jumbo tried to use when it slammed into construction debris. Singapore Airlines has accepted full responsibility for the crash, but has also called for a review of facilities at Taiwan's international airport. The BBC's Damian Grammaticas reports from Hong Kong. |
