Yemen election violence: five more killed

Reports from Yemen say five people have been killed in more violence linked to this week's local elections and a referendum on constitutional changes.

Four of the deaths were said to have occurred in overnight clashes between supporters of rival parties in an area al-Hamiyah near the capital. Three policemen were shot dead in an attack at a vote-counting centre in the same area on Thursday. In the other incident, an independent candidate was shot dead.

About ten people were killed during voting on Tuesday, while around twenty died during campaigning before the election.
