Lord Irvine hits back
The Lord Chancellor has been heavily criticised for asking solicitors and barristers to donate "at least £200" to Labour's general election fund at a dinner earlier this month. Replying to questions in the House of Lords, Lord Irvine said he was no different to any other cabinet minister and would consider fundraising again.
