OSCE chief warns of Bosnia meltdown

The current head of the European security organisation, the OSCE, is visiting Bosnia-Herzegovina, to help resolve delays in forming administrations, following parliamentary elections three months ago.

The OSCE chairman, Mircea Geoana the Romanian Foreign Minister, warned that delays were undermining the economy.

He's calling on all political parties to respect the election results, which gave a narrow victory to moderates over ethnically based nationalist parties.

The Bosnian Croat nationalists, the HDZ, walked out of parliament in protest at a moderate Croat being appointed prime minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
